Besides being overpriced and in bad shape, there were no rangers anywhere to be found. The foursome ahead of us was ridiculously slow and there was no one out there to move them along.

I was very disappointed with Sugar Ridge. I had heard and read good things about it, but the course was in very poor condition when I finally got the chance to play it. The greens were dry (burned in some places) and some of the fairways were really torn up. Not to mention all the new home construction going on around the course. For $40 I could certainly find at least two dozen courses in better shape than Sugar Ridge. I may come back, but it will only be in a few years when they have a chance to fix the problems and get it back to the beautiful course I had anticipated.

Food was average for a golf course snack bar.

Tee times are usually availible about any time you'd like to play as long as you reserve a day or two ahead of time. The views are incredible with lots of elevation changes that make it a true test for any golfer.

There are four greens that slope so dramatically that playing fifteen feet of break is not uncommon. (you better leave yourself under the hole)

Sugar Ridge is a course that tests your shot making abilities where you don't need to hit driver on every hole, The true test will be iron shots into greens where you need to be under the hole otherwise you could leave yourself some very tricky putts. The key to playing Sugar Ridge is putting your tee shot in play and not trying to bite off more than you can chew.

This is one of the few courses in the area that have people that are truley happy to see you and once they get to know you treat you like part of the family. The owners are happy to hear your comments and have joined my group for a round on more than one occasion. The club house staff are GREAT and courteous always happy to serve your needs and bring a smile to your face.

This is an Excellent course. Of all the courses around Lawrenceburg IN. this is by far my favorite. The fairways and Greens are well kept and the tee boxes are level! Getting off the fairway can land you at the bottom of a hill or in the woods but overall this is a top notch golf course! I highly recommend!
