An excellent value, this enjoyable 9-hole course is always in above average condition. Located on a landfill buffer zone corridor, the figure-8 routing rewards straight hitters as most of the trouble is off to the sides. OB and trees line the outer perimeter, while water provides internal separation between adjacent holes. Bunkering is kept to a minimum and is usually well away from the direct line of play. The greens are very large with contours that start gentle but get bolder as the round progresses. Despite being playable for the average golfer, the course is no pushover; holes 5 through 8 are strong enough to test any player, especially from the tips. The friendly staff has always been gracious hosts to my league. A few items to note: there is no driving range on site, the owners do not permit any alcohol on the premises, and the course is closed on Sundays.
