River Glen is a great track and currently the greens are in great shape but it's suffering from a lot of water damage. For example, a signature dog leg par 4 that shoots over a creek has been altered to an 80 yard par 3. It will require a lot of time and maintenance to get it back to good shape. I'm guess next spring. They definitely should not be charging $42 for 18 w/cart.

Greens have been upgraded and are great. Course is well cared for and clean, kept in good shape. A scenic course, along the banks of the White River, with wildlife - no geese - but Great Blue Heron, deer, ducks, etc. are seen often. Challenging, as you will use every club in your bag, but a good mix of difficult holes. No. 9 is a killer par 4 and the par 3 No. 14 can give you fits. 15 through 18 wind through upscale housing, with rolling fairways and elevated greens., so it is like playing two different courses.

Next to the river, very heavy rains have caused some flooding, but the grounds crew are very good at responding and getting it back into great playing conditions.

This is a well kept secret, tucked away along the White River. Reasonably priced and golfer friendly, it is very scenic with a well designed clubhouse, pro shop and areas to work on your game. Staff is very friendly and responsive.

Friendly and responsive, they really pay attention to evaluation cards that accompany each cart scorecard. Very customer friendly. Make you feel like they sincerely want you to have a good golf experience.

Driving range has a large elevated tee area hitting to four target greens, the first 70 to 100 yards and the next 3 staggered to the left and right, and spaced approximately 35-40 yards deeper. Beyond the last green is plenty of room for the driver. The last target green is 185 - 200 or so, allowing you to work on most approach shots to the green. Two putting greens, one for putting and chipping, offer undulation variations for good practice. A large practice bunker with a target green and flag makes for a good area to work on your sand play. It has a large, beautiful clubhouse with an excellent tavern and a well stocked pro shop, easy and close-in parking. Tennis and swimming also available.
