Eagle Valley West
Played the East course last April and the West course this April. The West course is by far the better and more interesting course. The course meanders through the lower foot of the hills and does not really go up as much as the nearby Silver Oak golf course. The course was in great condition except for the patchy greens that were sand filled. What made it so enjoyable was the lack of crowds. I was almost like having the entire course to yourself. Customer Service So So, at least they answered the phones promptly. Similar Products Used: Silver Oak Golf. |

Eagle Valley Golf: Played on the easier East course late March. Fairways are fairly open. Very little elevation change on course. Greens are patchy. Pace is on the slower side but very managable. Customer Service Ok |

The West Course. The west course is a nice track. It's a desert links style course, at least a 75 buck course here Southern California but is a municipal course for Carson City. It is a great value. Have played this course many times. Never have had any trouble getting times and often with a foursome we have just walked up and gotten on. Since the newer courses have been built in the Valley, I haven't played this lately but they say they have made some improvements on it and it is in good shape. I never thought it was ever in bad shape. It's a very challenging course, some really good holes and you can take chances on the doglegs, but if you miss, you will be in the scrub. During the summer beware of the killer huge jack rabbits. The greens have always been smooth and fair. Similar Products Used: None |

There are two courses here, East and West. The East course is wide open and good for beginners and high handicappers. Fairways are in very good condition. Greens are in bare winter condition from late October to April, But in playing season are in good shape. There are a few water carries they are short. The East course is flat and very walkable. For the better player you can have fun with your driver. Customer Service Good Staff Similar Products Used: Has a restaurant, bar, range. Pro shop is decent. |
