We won a free outing for four and started the tee time @ 1:28pm. We had a retired war veteran a Chicago cop and a newer player in the party. We were not the fastest but we were curtious to others and allowed to play through due to this. We were approached not once not twise but FOUR TIMES about being to slow!!! We were even threatened to be kicked off on the 9th hole. I thought golf was supposed to be a fun enjoyable game for all ages and gender??? Unless your ready for the PGA don't even bother going here!

The back nine is laid out nicely.

The front nine appears to have been laid out within a limited space. Number 3, you feel like you're driving blind over a reachable crest of a hill. Number 5 (par 5)is the worst. When driving, you have a small fairway area as a target which has the number 6 green on the left and further yet the tees for 7 and 11 (?) and all kinds of trouble on the right. You aim left and hope that no one gets hit. Number 5 should be redesigned as a par 4.

Overall, the course is well maintained. We played after 2:00 pm on Sunday behind a very slow foursome. The first cut of rough was cut short, and as it turned out was the place to be because of the dry conditions which made the fairways unforgivingly rock hard. (This was a plus on the drives because the ball would roll and roll - but, watch out for the bounces!)

Tee times were easy to make. (call up to a week ahead.) Staff were courteous and friendly.
