Shoots in the 90s
For early November the course was in great shape. The greens were spotless, the fairways were very nice. Great layout, left and right, up and down. Tree lined fairways made hitting your driver straight a must. Plenty of bunkers, but the sand was firm enough to putt out of. Water comes in to play just enough to make things interesting. Far away but will play again. Very scenic. Price included cart. Customer Service Friendly. |

The people reviewing this course don't understand that Cinder Ridge is open year 'round. That contributes to the conditions, at times. I have played this course 20 or so times in the last 3 years, and I love it. The fact that it is "amateurish" as one reviewer puts it, is ridiculous. He probably shot a 102 that day. The fact that an average guy, who loves golf, can design a course, build it himself and make it an extremely challenging track, is something to praise him for. I'd much rather play here than say... Ruffled Feathers... for 2 1/2 times the price on a course that you feel guilty taking a divot. Relax guys. Enjoy the challenge, enjoy the scenery and have a couple of cocktails. This is a great place to spend the day. Customer Service Great |

The course has some very interesting and fun holes. I like the layout, but the course was in terrible shape. I have played the course 3 times and it has been in bad shape each time which is a shame. The front nine was burnt out. Most of the greens had very large dead areas as did the fairways. Putting was very difficult as a result. The back nine (for whatever reason) was in much better shape. Being that I travelled almost an hour to play it, I probably won''t go back. Customer Service very friendly Similar Products Used: None |

Decently maintained, 10 minute tee time gaps are useful. The course is good and a good bargain but not the Valhalla the owner makes it out to be in advertising. You can tell it was laid out by an amateur, albeit a competent amateur. The fascinating part of the course is that it is literaly carved out of an old strip mine. Similar Products Used: None |
