Wow. What a dump. Worst condtioned golf course around chicago. Fairways are mud, greens are worst Ive ever played. We've had rain, but other courses are in great shape. Do not waste your money here. Also a 5 1/2 hour round as a twosome on a Tuesday. No rangers...... Customer Service There was no one but golfers on the course Similar Products Used: Cog Hill |

Big Run is my favorite Chicago golf course. The course was built in 1928 on a hilly oak grove. Very few courses can match it's natural beauty. The numerous elevation changes are found on no other course in Chicago. Many of the tees are elevated which affords beautiful views, and even better, an almost aerial view of the hole. Errant shots are punished, but not by being swallowed up by elephant grass, dense brush or artificial hazards. Errant shots find the oak groves that separate the holes. It is nearly impossible to hit a ball out of bounds. The course is long but your stroke loosens up knowing that an errant drive is not an automatic penalty, just a difficult second shot. Big Run, Big Fun. Customer Service A friendly front desk, good kitchen and cozy back bar. Nothing fancy. Very old school. Similar Products Used: Compares well to Cog # 4 which has similar terrain. |

I consider this to be one of the best courses in the southwest suburbs. Hilly, long, lots of trees and always in good condition. The greens are tough and some are boderline unfair. |

Nice to play a hilly course here in the midwest. Lots of trees and LONG. You definitely need to ride on a hot day or if your not in shape. Customer Service Friendly service.ø Similar Products Used: None |

This course is a beast, especially in the summer when it's hot. It's got lots of huge trees and two of the holes (9 & 18) are ridiculously long (18 is like 550 straight uphill and 9 is almost 600). Tough, sometimes severe greens but it's a great layout nontheless. Similar Products Used: None |
