My friend from college is one of the assistant pros, so I was able to play with him on a Monday. This course is absolutely beautiful. It is the first Donald Ross design I''ve ever played. It is difficult especially if you find the sand. The faiway bunkers are deep and have a lot of sand. As with all Ross designs, the greens are elevated so you have to land some long iron softly into hard greens. You really can''t hit balls short and hope they run up. If you get a chance, you should definitely play it.
