the strengths are the challenging holes. they make it more fun to play.

scotch pines is a very good course. its challenging yet easy enough for people of all ages. you need good accurcy because of the trees. but its always green and in very good shape.

Over-all condition of the total lay-out. Honestly do not recall having a bad lie when in the fairway.

Not so sure I can think of one. Maybe that it is only 18 holes and not 36.

If you drive through Payette, Idaho, have your clubs with you and don''t stop to play Scotch Pines, you are making a huge mistake. This one of the finest out of the way muni courses I have ever had the chance to play. I get a chance to play the course every year or so and it just seems to keep getting better.

This is a great Golf Course. The Idaho State Am was just played on this course. Price per person $20.00 and a cart is $10.00 per seat. Very afordable. Don't miss this one.
