A true out in the country club. Quiet, well-groomed and challenging. Not long, but not easy. Bring your "a" game to score well. Shot making and short game will serve you well. Smooth greens, great turf, and trade winds. What else could you want?
Customer Service Excellent. Similar Products Used: All the Oahu military courses |

Have played here hundreds of times from 2000 to 2005. Is a very nice course, good level layout, decent greens, some challenging, some easy holes depending on the wind. Went back to play in August 2, 2008 and was very surprised. Pace of play is atrocious, and no marshalls to speak of on the course, and the one that was there was totally ineffective and useless. When I lived on Oahu and played this course regularly, 5 somes were strictly not allowed. Now it seems to be the order of the day and is well on the way to becoming the typical Hawaii municipal - ie., 5 somes and 5 plus hour rounds. Used to like it, now my advice is to STAY AWAY and play Navy Marine or Kaneohe Bay if you are playing a military course on Oahu. Sorry Barber's Point, poor management and local attitude has done you in... Customer Service In the club house, good customer service. On the course, forget about it, there is none... Marshalls can sometimes be seen, but NEVER tell anyone to stand aside or speed up... Similar Products Used: Ted Makalena |

The lesser known little brother of Navy Marine golf course. Doesn''''''''''''''''t see as much play as it should due to its location. Barbors Point is set near the ocean with very little protection from the wind. There''''''''''''''''s lots of OB on this course making fairways in reg a must for low scores. The course tends to play firm and when it''''''''''''''''s in good shape the greens are extremely fast and difficult. Has several interesting holes my favorite of which is #13, a 90 degree dogleg left with a high risk/reward factor. The course is a bit on the short side but demands accuracy of the tee and into the greens, which are elevated and tend to be on the small side. This course is worth the drive and is cheaper than most municipal courses. Customer Service Average Similar Products Used: Good driving range, small crowded putting green |
