Awesome course, you would never believe its a military course. Holes 15-17 are beautiful. Greens are usually very well kept, nice and fast. Would recommend to anyone. |

great course, water on course, but its on the rainy said of the island, the views on 3 or 4 hole could not be beat for a military course. Customer Service help, explained every things (rules so forth) |

Great value for the money. The course could use a little more attention but overall not a bad course. The real treat comes in the middle of the back nine. There are a couple of ocean holes that IMO are better than Pebble Beach. Customer Service Friendly pro shop with limited inventory. If you are renting be aware they have limited rentals available. |

great layout with breathtaking views of the ocean. several extremely elevated tee shots make for interesting hole strategy. one of my favorites on the island! Customer Service ranger did a great job on pace of play. Similar Products Used: kapolei, hawaii prince, pearl country club |

Ho Hum, not too challenging course that would benefit from better maintenance. Then you get to the 13th hole with it's awesome ocean views that rival pebble Beach and Poipu Bay. The $20 green fees make this a must play every time we visit Hawaii.

Nice layout and design. BUT it is not very well kept. This course has the potential of being a very outstanding course. The fairways had numorus bare spots, and looked burnt, or dying. The grounds keepers would do well to look into "SeaShore Paspalum" and redo the entire course. If this is done then I believe that it could be a world class course. They need to hire better greens keepers. |

Poor man''''s Pebble Beach. This is a really neat track. If you are military, or have a friend that is , don''''t leave the island without playing here at least once. It is situated right off of the beach and of course the wind is ALWAYS blowing. The front nine is somewhat guarded from the wind by the sand dunes that run down the east side of the course. There are some very interesting holes on the front, my favorite of which is number 6, a par three straight into the wind with a hidden bunker in front and a green that''''s only about 5-8 yds deep. The real fun and joy of this course starts when you finally arrive at number 13, a long par four situated atop the sand dunes overlooking the beach. Take a camera it''''s a great view, on a clear day you can see Chinamans Hat from the tees. Several holes along the beach are the meat of the back nine with plenty of hazards and OB. The finishing hole is a 180 yd downhill par 3 once again, straight in to the wind. This hole sums up the entire course concept, club selection. For low scores you''''ll need to hit lots of fairways and possess a good punch shot. The fairways are in good shape thanks to a new irrigation system installed a couple years ago. The greens tend to roll on the fast side and some of them will drive you to drink (#10). For military golfers twilight starts at 1:00 PM and it''''s less than 15 bucks with a cart!! This is a really fun course with some great risk reward holes and it will test your "wind" game and your patience. Customer Service Good customer service. Similar Products Used: Decent driving range, nice outting green and an area to hit bunker shots and hone the 50 yd flop shot. |
