This course has the worst method of getting a tee time. A lottery where you may or may not get to play on the time you have available. First you can not call for a time due to the fact that they only except faxes and e-mails so on the level of customer realtions they get two thumbs way down. Then the course will dictate the number of people you can play with not the number you want or have put in for. You may fax in a four person round but they may say you can only play with two and force you to drop two of your players or not golf at all. All of this they will not tell you until you arive simply because they do not do call backs. In the last year I have played over thirty rounds of golf at many diffrent locations and this was by far the most misserable experance of them all. Customer Service Their customer service is the worst I have ever delt with at a golf course, and I mean The Worst. |

Waterfront, and not terrible difficult in low wind play. Customer Service Good Similar Products Used: The cafe isn't too bad, not great. Range is okay, but I hate hitting yellow balls and off of mats. |

I was TDY the entire summer of 2000 and played the course many times. It was the best course I ever played even with the noise from the airplanes. The people thatwe played with were friendly and gave us many pointers on the course. Can't wait to go back and play again. Customer Service The people at the Pro Shop were very friendly and helpful. |

If you have access to Hickam, and a map, I recommend you get out to this track. If you''re someone like David Duval, and get golf if someone''s heart is beating too loud, then don''t bother to go. The course is situated between the runways of Honolulu International Airport. It''s definetly loud, but suck it up and play there anyway, it''s worth it, and maybe it''ll make you focus a little more. The dominant factor on the course is the wind. This course is right on Mamala Bay and there is no protection from the prevailing trade winds. The fairways are in excellent shape and range from plenty wide to a wee bit narrow. There''s water of several of the holes but not not an abundance of bunkers. The greens tend to be firm and fast, with some subtle undulation that can drive you nuts. The key to scoring on this course is club selection and a good punch shot. Customer Service Really nice group of people working the pro sjop and restaraunt. Free refills on coke!! Similar Products Used: Nice driving range, area to hit bunker and flop shots, two accurate putting greens. |
