I've played this course 3 times now, and I don't think I will be going back. Almost no grass on many tee boxes, and several greens have large patches of sand on them. I'm not talking a little sand...I mean huge patches that your ball will get stuck in. From the 13th hole to the 17th, there are swarms of huge horse flies that won't leave you alone either! Impossible to concentrate. My recommendation is to stay away until things improve......

#14 is beyond ridiculous in terms of difficulty.

Lots of holes where you need to be dead center with the drive and no room for error.

Monday game - pretty disappointing. Drove over from Cumming. Many shortfalls. No grass on fairways or tee boxes. The rough is bad,too. Big black flies were annoying all over the course. No services from the bag drop trhu the whole day. I will write this course off. Why drive past Woodmont,etc. to go to L A. Many better courses around N GA than this one.

Not much attention and help. Monday play likely was one of the reasons. Stll, there were enough people on the course to warrant a concession cart. Bag drop service was absent.

I thought this was the prettiest, most enjoyable course I have played in 35 years of playing golf The elevation changes, the views of the lake, the scenic vistas and the condition of the course made it a perfect day

Very nice layout - pretty area. Course condition is good.

May be out of the way for some.

One of the most scenic courses in the area. Beautiful lakeside location but also very hilly. Interesting elevation changes. I would classify this as a "target golf" type course. Not for the hacker unless you like to go through a lot of balls. There are ample opportunities to lose a sleeve or three. Fairways tend to be tight, and some of the greens are small. Course is in very good condition as of Dec 2001.
