Some of the bunkers need new sand

A pleasant surprise within 2 miles of the Interstate. Great greens and a very friendly staff helped me with all of my questions. Holes #5 & #6 are the pretiest holes on the golf course. The other holes wind in and around wooded area''s and homesites. Stayed for a week and this course was the most inexpensive of any in thearea. The course has 5 different tee''s to let all levels of golfers enjoy the golf course. I played on a Thursday for $25.00 and it included lunch (the staff told me they do this every thursday but I don''t know how they could afford it)

Greens, length. Pratice putting green is same as greens on the course.

Clubhouse under construction. Practice range is very small.

Very good value for the dollar. Greens are very well kept. You can get in trouble of the tee, but not that much. Key to scoring on this course is putting. Two medium long par 3's over water (150, 167). The par fives are just within reach so it gives you an interesting choice for your second shot. The 4 pars are fair with some straightaways and some doglegs. The par 5 17th is as sharp a dogleg as I have ever played, but you can get there with two good shots. Holes # 5 and 6 give you a great view of the Georgia Marshes.

Bring 4-6 balls, because if you are in the woods you will not find it.

Enjoy this course, it is a good course at the right price.
