The Trump International is a private course located in West Palm Beach, Florida. As you would expect from Donald Trump, it is first class throughout!

OK let's get some simple disclosure out of the way, I played this wonderful course in a charity outing. I am not a member. That being said, this amazing tract of property is not a typical Florida golf course. Millions of yards of dirt were brought in to make the rolling terrain and elevation changes. 7,300 yards from the tips, makes this a Fazio Design masterpiece.

Right off the bat is a 475 yard par four requiring an uphill approach. The par 3's range from 175 to 228 yds, and with some typical South Florida spring wind, you are looking at "4th and 10" from the tee box. Putting pride aside, I used a 22 degree fairway wood on 3 out of four of them. Number 17 is Trump's signature hole. It's 175 yds (blue) 196 (black) beauty with a rock waterfall draping the backside. #15 is a great example of par five with a fairway split by a creek and several bunkers to catch errant strokes.

The greens roll around 10 to 11, and have bisecting ridges forming two tiers. Listen to your caddie, because if you miss the target area, you will not have an easy up and down especially from the bunkers.

Fairways taper with longer drives although the rough was not too bad when we played. Some sucker pin placements, so again listen to your caddie.

Customer Service

Exceptional in every respect, although the gentleman in the golf shop was not very friendly to me.

Driving range is wide, and well flaged with distances. Putting green rolls true to the golf course greens.
