Scenic Hills is a nice course, and a great value. I wasn't planning on playing golf on my trip to Pensacola, but wound up with about 5 hours to kill. Fee's were good and rentals (new Callaway BB irons and Hyper X woods) were only 25 bucks. Had lunch at the turn and the food was excellent. Everyone was nice, the service was great. The cart girl was around every 10 minutes or so. All in all my group had a great time. Tee boxes were good fairways very good, greens a bit sandy, but overall still good.

Customer Service

Excellent, very friendly, very professional too.

I played Scenic Hills CC in Pensacola today. Overall its was a nice course. Tight fairways in some sport, some elevation comes into play, bunkers were in good shape (unfortunately I know this from 1st hand experience) Excellent value Green Fees were $39 and Pretty New Callaway Rentals (BB Irons, HyperX Driver, 3 & 5 Woods, and an Odyssey Putter) for $25. It was not crowded, the tee boxes, fairways and rough were well maintained. It was quite hot and the greens were a bit fast/hard. We had lunch at the turn which was also really good. Excellent cart service as well. Overall my group had a really nice day and I would definitely recommend for anyone visiting the Pensacola area.

Customer Service

Very Good, Everyone was nice at the pro shop and in the clubhouse restaurant, the cart girl came by around 8 times so she was always there when we were parched... All in all nice people to deal with.

PLAYED IS SEPTEMBER, 2000. PLAYED IN GROUP OF TWO. AT FIRST TEE, GROUP WITH AN EARLIER TEE TIME ASKED US TO PLAY THROUGH. WE DID SO AND ABOUT 3 MINUTES INTO THE HOLE THE STARTER (WHO WAS NOT PRESENT ON THE FIRST TEE) CAME DOWN THE FAIRWAY SHOUTING AT MY PARTNER AND I BLAMING US FOR DELAYING PLAY. I'M SURE IT WAS JUST A MISUNDERSTANDING BUT IT DID NOT ADD TO THE ENJOYMENT OF THE COURSE. THE STARTER APPARENTLY DID NOT KNOW WHEN WE STARTED. THAT SAID, THE COURSE WAS IN VERY GOOD SHAPE. ALL STAFF EXCEPT THE STARTER WERE A PLEASURE TO DEAL WITH. FEES WERE 27.00 A PIECE WITH A CART AND A COUPON. A HILLY COURSE FOR THIS AREA WHICH WAS A NICE CHANGE OF PACE FOR ME.
