TPC is by far my favorite course in the Tampa area. Although the course is a bit on the short side, the fairways are always very well manicured, and the greens are huge and are always super fast and true. the greens are amazing. you wont find faster greens on a public course in Tampa. I am an average length hitter (250-275 yard drives) and only one of the par 5 holes were reachable in 2.
they have a fantastic range and outting area too. theres also a little green that you can practice your sand shots on too.

Condition, variety of holes, true greens, won't keep driver in your bag, rewards good tee shots, quietness, blends modern technology with natural surroundings.

Brown grass in summer-greens hard to hold, needs another reachable par 5.

Very well-maintained course even when not hosting the Verizon Classic of the Champions Tour. I played this course in the summer so some of the grass was burnt which made both the fairways and greens firm as heck, which helped a guy like me with mediocre distance out quite a bit. I found that finding the fairway opened up several options for my second shots, depending upon how well the greens were guarded. Only one of the par 5's was reachable, but the key to having birdie chances on the other two was to have a well placed lay up second shot in order to have a solid wedge into these firm greens. The greens, although burnt in areas, putted very true and were rolling around 10. Pay close attention to the wind on water holes. Check out pin locations before cutting loose on the tee.

pricey for such short course and with the Veterans Freeway running right through the middle of it.

Very nice course but a bit short. The layout is challenging on some holes and the conditions of the greens and fairways are always very good. A top notch course for mid to high handicappers. For low handicappers I would look towards World Woods as a viable option as they provide a better value in terms of price and challange. I wish this course could be moved away from the freeway...obviously not an option...to bad!
