My son and myself having been playing Twin Rivers, (which I live on), for the past couple of years. We wanted to try a different course and did a lot of on-line homework on a new course to try. Some of the prices were staggering. Nearly all had 'mixed' reviews. Virtually all are nicer courses than where we live. When we came across Harmony, we were impressed with the awards earned from respectable organizations. The 2-4-1 golfing deal on Tuesdays drove the price down to about 20 bucks each.. wow.. you just can't beat that! The course was perfect for us...challenging but not overwhelming. There are plenty of water hazards, tiger traps (sand traps), and other little enjoyable features. The tees, fairways, greens were all in terrific condition. My son notched his first birdie on the par 3 12th. Everything there was clean and very customer friendly. We will absolutely return (on tuesdays probably..lol) and would definitely recommend this course to anyone. You won't regret shooting a round here. Customer Service Top Shelf! is the best I can describe the customer service we experienced. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by an attendent with a cart who unloaded our gear from the car, loaded the golf cart and had it ready for us as we left the club house. The starter was friendly, polite, and informative. The cart was clean and included gps. Along the latter part of the front 9 the snack lady drifted by in her cart and waited until we finished our hole to see if we would like anything. When I asked for water..she informed me that I had water on my cart.. puzzled I said, I do?.. she chuckled and said yes, it's in your cooler.. puzzled some more and with some embarassment, my reply was.. I have a cooler?.. She quickly pointed out where that clever little surprise was on the cart.. chuckle.. To my delight there it was, packed with ice and 4 complimentary bottles of water.. Little touches like that go a long way for a working guy like me... HUGE POINTS!! When we were finishing the back 9 there was the snack lady again.Patiently waiting for us to finish the hole she asked if there was anything we needed. When finished they cleaned our clubs and reloaded everything in the car. My Score A+ Similar Products Used: The only other Florida course I've played is Twin Rivers (where I live). I don't mind TR because basically, I'm not very good, and it offers me all the challenges I can handle. TR simply lacks the polish, bells and whistles, customer svc, and really nice course management that I've now experienced at Harmony. |

What can I say - fantastic. It only cost $18 as we booked via www.golfnow.com the day before. May be worth a look as I believe it can be expensive.
Customer Service Friendly staff in every part of the golf club. Similar Products Used: Celebration, Grand Pines, Remington |

The links-style course is beautifully laid out and maintained, except for times where they aerate the greens (spring and autumn). Playability is difficult, as you would expect from a true links design, so scoring low given my 12 handicap is usually difficult. Insofar as the overall value is concerned, my opinion is that weekday green fees are $20 too high, and weekend greeen fees are grossly overpriced. Customer Service Here's where the Harmony Preserve mystique ends. Depending upon who serves you, service can range from excellent (almost annoyingly attentive) to outright lousy and cocky. |

VERY DASAPPOINTED! Had played this course before and was excited about going back. We we arrived we found the greens covered with sand. When we asked the starter why they can't do half the green at a time or put the flag somewhere else where the green would be puttable, he laughed and said HE was NOT the greenskeeper. We had 36 holes booked that day and wanted to leave after 9. We were told because we booked through an agency there was nothing they could do. Customer Service When you pay what this course charges to play, and you voice a concern that you don't feel as if you are getting your money's worth, it is disheartening to have someone laugh and basically tell you Tough Luck! Not my problem! EVERY employee is a representative of that course and needs to remember, WE didn't HAVE to come to YOUR course. We expect to be treated with more respect than we received. This Johnny Miller, 18 hole course is about as nice a course as I have ever played. It is relatively new (2003?)but you would never know it. Each hole is unique and requires some decision making. The fairways are generous yet challenging. There is some water, yet not so much as to frustrate the mid-level player. Greens are flawless, some with undulation, others more straightforward. The second hole is a perfect risk-reward hole over water. Play it safe out toward landing area or try to bite off the water for a short second shot. (Hint - from the whites - big hitters can clear the water!) This course is on a par (Pun intended) with Orange County and Mission Inn, if not a notch above. Can't say enough nice things about it! Customer Service Beautiful facility with high-scale clubhouse, dining room and practice area. Staff is very friendly and can't do enough for you to make your round as nice as it can be. |
