This past weekend I had the opportunity to play at Sugarloaf Mountain for the first time with some friends. We had an absolute blast! The course was in really good condition and we kept having to remind ourselves that we we’re playing a course in Florida. The views are amazing. Their greens were some of the best I’ve played in central Florida lately. Tough but awesome design! This course might be a drive but it is well worth it! We’ll be back soon.

Well I was back at Sugarloaf in early March.It's still a great golf course but I think the winter and maybe the economy has dealt them a setback. The greens were pretty bad. They had aerated and I feel like warmer weather (and rain) will help them get through this rough spot. I actually played two 18 hole rounds even though the greens were not very good because I love the layout. It's not youir typical Florida course and every hole is unique. I still highly recommend giving Sugarloaf Mountain a try once they get the greens back to where they normally are.
