Good Starter course when you come to Tampa area. Reward good shots does not punish bad ones too badly.Could use some updating of sand traps

This golf course is one of those that when in its best shape will never exceed a 3.

It is very difficult to tell where the fairways stop and rough starts. The greens would be in better shape if golfers would learn to repair ball marks. Additionally, the green speed in some months can equal that of rolling a piece of cotton across velcro. The design is not too bad actually.

The location next to St Petersburg airport allows golfers something else to focus on when pace is slow.

All in all, a good course for beginners and those that are not looking for a top conditioned golf course. Pace of play is not too bad either.

The customer service is very good. There are cart girls to provide a much needed cold beverage in the summer heat.

This low rent course is best suited for the Chuck Thompson, Norm Carlton type of golfer...Cheat on the score and say you shot in the 80s when you really shoot 110
