This course is a gem in the style of Donald Ross. Holes hug the coastline and each hole offers a unique challenge to accomplish a par of a birdie. In recent years there has been an elevated care in regards to the fairways and greens. Play can be slow. Rare enforcement of expected golf course rules. Unmarshalled course opens opportunities for spirit of golf abuse. Regardless, this is an excellent course to enjoy in coastal Connecticut, a great place to sharpen your game. Fantastic for casual match play.

Excellent layout, breathtaking views, always a tee time available, traditional course, that plays true of its late 19th century design

only nine hole, but you can play it twice from different tees, no true driving range, although their is a practice area

Great Old course, provides an excellent test of shot making, although not terribly difficult . I wish that this course was open to the public year round. Links style golf, and great views of Long Island sound. The round itself is worth the teeshot on the fourth hole, coming over the ocean. you, will think you are in Scotland. A classic Donald Ross-like design.
