Course was OK. Course is very short and the greens were in fair condition. It looks like this course gets a lot of play so the greens tended to be "ball marked" up a bit. If you are a 10 or under handicap, leave your driver at home.

Starter seemed like a nice guy.

diversity of holes: long, short, hills, water, a couple of nice long straight holes to open up the driver. Cheap play for residents.

no driving range for warm up, no restaurant or cafe to finish off a day of golf.

Tough beginner course. Narrow course surrounded by thick woods and leaves. Stay in or near the fairway or bring extra balls. Always busy, so let the old guys play through. Back nine open up somewhat to let you hit long.

Condition of greens, Price for locals

tight, short front......NO DRIVING RANGE OR RESTAURANT

Good muni, best greens in Fairfield county as far as muni's go. Locals have a gem here. ($15) Driver stays in bag until 8th hole, and only comes out 4 more times. Frustrating for driver fans. Course management a must. Needs better facilities....but has all the bare necessities. Pace is very good early but bogs down in the afternoon, especially during the week.

Great deal for locals at $14 a round.
Vastly improved over the past few years since city now allows the course to keep all of the revenues resulting in fine golfcourse improvements.

Stay Away ! We locals want this fun, well-maintained, friendly course with water, elevation changes and seven tight starting holes all to ourselves. Just "fogretaboutit".
