Two completely different nine holes. Putting is a challenge due to the greens being on the side of the hills and plenty of slope and roll in the greens. The price is right and a course to tell your friends about.

None to speak of

Very challenging golf course, with 2 completely different nines. The front nine is in a valley with trees, streams, ponds. Somewhat a normal layout. Now for the back nine. It runs up through 2 valleys with narrow fairways, small greens sand traps, ponds, etc. You will rise over 250 feet above the valley floor. The rough is trees, rocks, so if you hit one out there, chances are you won't find it. The views on this back nine are fantastic with beautiful rock formations and views of mountains. The course is very well maintained. This is a must course to play if you like a real challenge. If you are passing through Colorado on I 70, pull off at Rifle and go play this course, and bring your camera.Oh yes, bring plenty of golf balls, because if you don't hit the fairways, you will lose some.
