The long par 3's. Even the pros don't play many 235 yard and 220 yard par 3 holes. The course is very well maintained. Very nice clubhouse with sandwiches. Driving Range, Putting Green, chipping green, Tennis court(free).The management is amoung the friendliest you will find anywhere.

About the only weakness is ball marks on the greens, but this is a problem everywhere.

This is an Executive Course which normally means an easy par 3 course. But don't be fooled with this one. It is a fairly difficult course. Par is 59, but not easy. The fairways are generally flat, but water comes into play on a few holes. There are 4 holes which might be considered easy, they are 115, 127, 143 & 148 yards. But there are par 4 holes of 387, 286, 300, 300, and 290. Here are the good ones; 235 yard par 3, 200 yard par 3, 220 yard par 3, 180 yard par 3 and 177 yard par 3. The other holes are in the 165 yard par 3 range. What makes it even a little more difficult is that all the greens are elevated and mounds around each green, also the greens all have considerable slope, so there is a real challenge putting uphill, downhill and sidehill. Fortunately there are NO sand traps. If you are passing through Grand Junctin on I-70, stop off and play this course, you will find it a real challenge.The course is open year round, with only a few snow days.
