Fun trying to hit the correct part of the greens, you can''t just aim for the fat part if you want to score. There were a few good holes. In all fairness, a friend of mine who LIKES courses that wind through the condos really likes this place. I worry about this friend though.

Did I say it was overpriced? Aye carumba. If you really feel compelled to drop $100+ play Strawberry Farms 10 min. away. This course was planned around the houses instead of the other way around Miss the fairway by 20 yds in some places and you''re paying for someone''s bedroom window. I played on a Fri afternoon and the round was 5+ hours. I didn''t see a marshall all day.

WAY overpriced. Full price for a Friday afternoon was $100. I paid half that (coupon) and still didn''t think much of the course. Very narrow fairways, and very thick rough when I played. Course winds through the condos in Tustin Ranch which I do not like. Lots of irons and 3-woods off the tee, you definitely need to keep it out of the rough. We had a few buried lies 10 yds. off the fairway where we just had to hack it out. Lots of multi-tiered greens - you need to be on the correct tier or it''s hello 3-jack. I can''t really comment more than that on the greens though, as they had been recently punched. You CAN score well out here though, the premium is on accuracy, not length.

Nice pro shop if you don''t mind dropping $120 for a shirt (!). Low putting rating is because some of the greens were punched. If the greens were in better shape, the rating would have been higher.
