The place is a dump. I end up here every other year and am reminded why I don't go more often.

Pruneridge Golf Course
I agree with the previous poster... Pruneridge was remodeled in late 2006 and early 2007 and is now a very unique property for golfers of all ages abilities. In addition to the course improvements, the driving range was repaired and expanded, and they have added grass practice tees where the old first fairway used to be, so you don't have to hit off the plastic mats. They also just added a new teaching facility for "VisualGolf," featuring two stalls with state-of-the-art cameras, graphics, and visual feedback for golfers who really want to work on their game. You can try out new equipment, receive a professional fitting, and see actual ball flight out to the range, rather than just hitting into a net. A new snack bar is about to open, and there is a great patio and fireplace, making Pruneridge a great choice for associate club tournaments, corporate golf outings, and the like. All in all, they have done a remarkable job of turning around this former dog-track and making it a true golf destination in the south bay. Customer Service The new management has made a huge difference, and they all seem very friendly and helpful. |

This course underwent a very expensive makeover in 2006. The first hole was shortened, trees were planted, bunkers improved and upkeep of this 3-par course went from almost non-existent to well above average. 6 of 9 holes are 100ish yards, with 3 long straight 250ish yard holes. Narrow fairways lined with trees make this a challenge. Lots of hackers out here as this is a big lessons/practice facility. But the greens are in good shape and the last few times I've played the course looks great. I played here all the time 10-15 years ago and it was a dump. BIG improvement. Customer Service Excellent. |

Pruneridge Golf Club is a great place to practice in the game. In the past, it was pretty beat up, but with the renovation it is a top class facility. It has three practice greens as well as a brand new visual golf building that is set to open in the next month, with radar ball tracking, 6 plasma screens, balance mats, over 12 cameras. In addition, the staff is very knowledgeable and the course is a great place for a quick 9. |

This course is in solid condition. Although it is short, it is still fairly challenging. The 3 par 4s are all short but the fairways are narrow. A good course to practice your mid to short irons and accuracy. The drivingn rangen has a lot of stalls and is centrally located. The new managment team is making a lot of improvements. Customer Service One of the best staffs I have ever dealt with. |

I play this course all the time, but mostly out of convenience. It's not a course I recommend if you are pressed for time. The holes are fairly difficult, by virtue of the lack of upkeep. The greens have bare spots, bumps, and divots all over them. If you can sink anything outside of 20' on these greens then you should playing on the tour. The holes aren't terribly creative. All four of the par 4s are short, 350 being the longest. If you are looking for a quick round it is very easy to get on here. Most of the players are beginners so they are usually happy to take singles on with them and most of the people that play there are typically more friendly. There are two or three employees that I've seen driving around a drink cart. All of them are very nice and personable. Customer Service The staff is always really nice, especially those in the drink cart. Similar Products Used: Driving range is adequate, although it would be wise to stay away from the two stations on the far right of the lower deck. The chipping area is essentially worthless. The practice green is fine. |

The greens (if you can call them greens)were bumpy and bare in spots. The fairways were ok. Not worth the fee. For an additional $10 you can play a regulation course in better shape. Waste of time and money. Customer Service ok |

Course is short, rought and not that appealing. Easy to get tee times and perfect for a quick get away from work. Also great to go home a bit early and play a qick nine. I wish that the tee boxes were not in such bad shape. Seems like a swamp was drained in places, especially the 5th hole. No beverage carts, no water, unless you want to drink reclaimed water. Need I say more? Close to Starbucks on the way to work....... Customer Service Customer service is fine, only see them for about 5 minutes anyway Similar Products Used: Need to get ride of the automated phone attendant, pick up the range balls on holes 1 and 9 more frequently |

Nicely located course for the "I should be at work" golfer. Greens fees are cheap and times are easy to get. Make sure to hit a brightly colored ball off the ninth tee or you'll never find it with all of the range balls that slips through the net of the driving range that runs the length of one side of the fairway. Customer Service They are always willing to work with people who do not want to be combined into foursomes Similar Products Used: Staff can answer most basic questions |
