Over the past few years, the management and the City of Pittsburg have made a real effort to make improvements to the course. It is an enjoyable course that can be tough on a windy or rainy day. I am planning on playing more round here this summer.

Customer Service

Excellent. For example, last winter my son-in law and I were playing on a really cold and rainy day. When we finished, we returned the cart and went to buy some dry socks. The guy in the pro shop gave them to us for nothing. Then, we went into the diner/bar and one of the regulars there had seen us finish and bought us a beer. We watched some football and had a great time.

Similar Products Used:

Used to play Boundary Oaks which is 5-6 miles away. Gave that up when that course became too hard to get on, to expensive and the customer service is the worst in the East Bay. Go to Pittsburg, you won't be sorry.

Allistar MacKenzie designed back nine is a good test. Delta views are great. Not often crowded and reasonably priced.

Wind, Hills, may be a bit too short for longer hitters.

This is a nice hilly muni that allows for every shot in the bag. Walking is for the strong legged and the wind can change a hole from an easy 6 iron to a 4 iron in a hurry. I like this course as its fun to play and not extremely long or difficult. Bent grass greens roll true if a bit hard to hold and trickey to putt.
