Played for the first time on a Saturday morning. They had just aerated the greens, so the rates were discounted (normally $90ish). Teed off @ 845. The first tee takes you to another world. It was completely quiet with you, your group and the hole. They don't let a line up at the 1st tee at all. We didn't wait for one hole and only had 1x that the group behind us waited to hit on a par 3. Though I lost way too many golf balls, the track wasn't as hard as I was making it to be though. I lost about 8 golfballs over the round and still shot a legit 100 - I'm about a 21hcp.
Overall, I really enjoyed the course, the fairways were very well kept; course in overall good condition. Holes were challenging and interesting. But I couldn't get over how quiet and relaxing it was to be back with nature and away from...pretty much anything.
For $93 being the normal weekend rate, that's tough to beat in orange county. I would like to play it again...and not lose so many balls.

Arroyo Trabuco is a great and affordable golf course in Orange County that provides a challenging layout with its variety of holes. While the course layout appears barren and sparse, the fairways traverse through a canyon wash area and hole shapes flow naturally through the area. Fairways are not lush, but the greens are large and quick.

The course provides good service, responsible marshalls and staff, and has a great restaurant that makes the finish on any round superb.
