Nice course, not that long, but long enough to have fun. A couple of tee shots over water are challenging, and an eagle opportunity for someone who can hit a 280 yard drive on the par 5 12th and 18th holes. (The 18th hole is only 488 from the blues). The shortest par 4 is 337 yards, but it's through a narrow opening over a huge ball eating ravine that only comes into play if you lose your concentration. The 9th hole is a 445 yard par 4 that drops steeply at around 300 yards, then climbs just as steeply to an elevated green. This is a fun course.

OK course not a lot of imagination. Front 9 is pretty straight forward back 9 has more challenge to it. Has one of the longest par 4s in LA (#17 about 450 into the wind). Par is 70. VERY slow play. Do not go to this course expecting to be done in 4 hours.

Customer Service

Great very friendly

This is unfortunately an average to below average course in South Central Los Angeles. This heavy-use, daily municipal course is located just south of the Century Freeway on Western that makes use of tree-lined fairways. The front nine is unimaginative and a little repetitive in its first five holes with short par 4s (under 350 yards) and two par 3s. Then the next four holes are all par 4s as the last three run parallel side-by-side. The back nine is a little better with par 4s of good length and variety and the par 3s (#10 and #13) are drastically different (#10 is short and only protected by a ravine; #13 is long and cornered by trees). There are the par 5s on the last nine and there are not the obstacles of water that is on the front side (I don''''t believe it to be much of an obstacle). Fairways are in decent condition and their is no real rough to speak. Ravines, water pools, gullys, and a bit of mounding is the only variety that you will find on this flat layout. On the weekends, I expect a six hour, fivesome grouping round and if it gets done in 5 1/2 hours, I feel blessed with a miracle.

Customer Service

Very Good. Pro shop and starters try to get players out as soon as possible to get you on the course playing. They must believe that it is in their best interest to get waiting players out on the co

Small putting green, chipping area and driving range, which is understandable considering the price of land in Los Angeles.
