When we got there we heard that there was an incident in which the police were called, but they would not tell us what happened, other than it was not a big deal. I didn't really care. The tee boxes and fairways were nice, however the greens were in poor condition. There were ball marks everywhere, making it impossible to putt. That really made the playing experience a poor one.

There is a premium placed on course managment and the greens were in good condition for the amount of play the course receives. Even though there were four par 3s in a row, they were a little varied in layout and distance.

Other than out of bounds, there isn't too much deterrent to the course from bunkers or other hazards. Four par 3s in a row seem a bit much for the front side and within that stretch, there are a few holes too close together. Driving range was just mats and a little too tight for comfort.

A short up and down municipal course in the city of Fullerton that can be a challenge for beginning golfers. This executive style course meanders through creeks, gullys and around hills that pose challenges to wayward drives and approach shots. There is nothing spectacular or too notable about the course. It can be easily walked, which would make the wait between holes fairly tolerable.

Customer Service

The woman working the clubhouse during the day (Friday) wasn't that much customer focused. The guy in the late afternoon was more attentative and helpful when the round was over. Cart girl just drove out in the fairway and tended to slow up groups, but overall you could catch up fairly quickly as groups moved slowly. Did not see cart girl on the back nine.
