Shoots in the 80s
This course is short but well maintained. The front is fairly wide-open, highlighted by the quirky par-4 3rd hole -- a hard dogleg right which requires a carefully placed iron off the tee (too long and its OB; too short and you're blocked out), followed by a 200-yard approach with OB left and trees right. The back nine is much more memorable, with three par-3s including a trecherous carry over a creek and small pond on #12. Hole #16 has two greens -- you can play as a par 3 or par 5. You definitely want to play the par 5, which I consider the signature hole. A creek will swallow a short drive, so plan on a 5-iron off the tee, then a layup of 180-200 yards to a pond that fronts a small green sloped heavily from back to front. If you fly the green you're in the river. It's a great risk/reward hole! I consider 17 the toughest hole on the course, a dogleg left requiring a long straight drive (hook it and you're OB in deep woods, push it right and you can't reach in two). Overall an easy course, but a fun round and well worth the modest price. Similar Products Used: Copper Hill in E. Granby, CT, which is a 9-hole course. I prefer Airways, however. |

The person who gave this course a 5 obviously works there. This course is nothing short of a pasture without the cows. Take it for what it is. $22 for 18 holes with a cart and lunch. You get what you pay for in life. Customer Service Not gonna get a warm fuzzy feeling playing here. |

This course is relatively maintained for what it is. It is very short and flat, good for beginners. During the summer, the course can get really solid, some of the tee boxes are like cement. The price for a round is the cheapest in the area. But, some of the staff are not so nice. Customer Service Not overly accomodating, golf by volume metnality. Similar Products Used: None |

This course is a crappy town course. If you need to put a tee in the ground bring a hammer. Packed Dirt! Similar Products Used: None |

The front plays like an excutive course even from the back tees. This course is short and a great place for beginners and seniors or hackers who are in need of an ego boost. Course was in bad shape the one time this year I played it. It should have had at least three temporary greens, but instead they let you putt on dirt. If your goal is to drive a few greens this is the place for you otherwise try a real golf course. Customer Service Everyone treats you great there as if you are at a real golf course Similar Products Used: None |

I was lucky enough to get a free game at this course and was it ever so worth it, I will be back. The maintenence is one of the best and the green and tee's are in great condition. The par four's and five's are really nice and can be a challange for some. Many people come back to this course and everyone I talked to said they loved to play at this course. Customer Service Sometimes tee times are difficult to get but you should be able to get a good one as long as you call a few days early. Similar Products Used: None |

I''ve played Airways now for half of last year and this year up till now. And I will not be going back again this year. They have not done any grounds work at all. The course is all messed up, looks like a tornado cut thru it. It was good last year. Similar Products Used: None |
