This is located about 5 miles from Chester in the Sierras. A beautiful 9-hole regulation course of a modern design. Could be considered championship level. Maybe the nices 9-hole course in California. Fairly open fairways. Some water, sand, decent complexity. Conditions are better than great. Tee boxes are cleverly arranged as to make some par 4s into 5s and to change distances. It is done in such a way to be interesting and fair. Very walkable. Mature pines line the fairways. Very beautiful. Tee boxes and fairways and fairways are in wonderful condition. Greens are large and complex. They are true and hold balls well. Has a range, practice area and a nice restaurant. $20-$30 range.
