Golf course is well maintained and OK for the practice. The best value there is by far Eric Manley, the head teaching pro over there. I tried who knows how many golf instructors but this guy is really something special. After 6-7 lessons with Eric I improved dramatically every single aspect of my game. The guys is unbelievable.

Shoots in the 90s

This is a great par 3/18 hole course for practice. Maintenance is above average, not too crowded, and pace of play is good. No-pressure environment. It is near the freeway so noise is present on a few holes. Putting green, and a large two-tier driving range present. The range is automatic tees, but one fault is the ball height isn't high enough for big drivers, in my opinion. Bring your own drinks/snacks because bottled water costs $3. Overall, a good course for beginning to improving players.

Shoot in the 80s

Let's start by saying that this is my home turf. I like this course and have played 20+ rounds and hit 2000+ practice balls here in the past 2 months. A very short 18 hole 2,000 yard par 3 that sits on top of a reclaimed landfill. Rather poorly maintained, this course has an abundance of bald spots and semi-swamp like patches. There are 3 patches of heavy rough; right beside the green, that are very difficult to hit out of. No water whatsoever (except for the aforementioned swamp zones). Only a couple of bunkers and the lamp posts will cause as much of a hazard as the trees. Nonetheless a charming place. Longest hole is a 147 yard (hole 9) and the shortest is a 90 yard hole that plays right next to the 405 freeway. Why is it that people that drive by a golf course always yell "fore"? The toughest hole is hole 17 (122 yard), where you will be faced with a bunker that sits dead center on the lip of the green. No elevation change at all. Greens break in a prdictable manner. This is a great place to take your kids out for a gentle introduction to the game. The course pro, Eric Manley is a great and talented guy with a knack for teaching and all of the staff is warm and receptive. Additionally, the driving range is fully automated with 90+ spaces covering 2 decks. There is also a swing-cam that can analyze your stroke. This is a Nike Training Center and I wholeheartedly support this program for it's insight into helping beginning golfers gain their basic technique. If you live in the South Bay and are in need of lessons, this is the place to go.

Customer Service

As mentioned, great staff. A few clubs, mainly Tour Edge and a few Taylor drivers available. Top Flite and Nike balls and shirts for sale.
