An older course with a small, old clubhouse. But it has a lot of character and is maintained very well. It is a rare par 73 (5 par 5's) but it is pretty open, so it is of average difficulty. It has some very intersting holes and favors the long hitter, a bit. Greens are on the slow side, but are quite true and the longer putts are relatively makeable. For the Monday I played, it was quite busy, but once we got past the second hole it moved normally. Our round was about 4 1/2 hours. Good course to score on, despite the 5 par 5's and a couple of long 4's. The white tees really shorten the length if you so desire. Tees are well maintained as well. Customer Service Clubshop people were quite nice and patient with upset golfers paying holiday rates on July 3rd. Similar Products Used: None |
