A very nice 9 hole course. Tees, greens, and fairways were well maintained. I strongly recommend. Excellent full service.

The hole lengths are short, but varied and the holes bend mostly from left to right on the par 4s which will accomodate your fade and put your draw in jeopardy.

Most of the holes are straight and you shouldn't have to hit a driver or a 3 wood off any tee. The course could use come direction signs to get you from one hole to another as you could get confused even after hole #1.

Played 6/12/02. A very quaint 9 hole course on Santa Catalina Island that is a nice 2 hour round as a good activity in the city of Avalon. You can bring your clubs across or rent them at the course. Carts are available, but the course can be easily walked whether you do 9 or 18. Located alongside the hillside, the course gently goes up and down for par 4s and par 3s. The longest hole extends to only 335 yards and is from an elevated tee box. The course has trees and bunkers lining the fairways and around the greens. When the winds picks up, it makes the course even more challenging.
