It's a nice course in a great location. Several holes have a great views of the river and downtown. If I lived closer this would definitely be one of my regular courses. It's definitely a fun track, give it a try if you're in the area.

Course condition. Value. Relatively fast play. Decent shots from the rough are possible, which helps keep things moving.

Layout can become boring and present few challenges even from the back. No rough.

This course is usually packed on the weekends and on late afternoons during the week so book you tee times in advance. In the summer the early morning tee times for the weekend are booked a week in advance. The course is usually in fine condition and the greens are in decent shape, but overall the course is not difficult. It's short, and there are only one or two holes that really give me problems. Number 2 is one. It's a difficult tee shot for me because I have trouble drawing the ball, which is necessary to hitting a long tee shot and remaining in the fairway. If the tee shot is blocked to the right, you are forced to lay up, unless you're a huge hitter. Number 17 also makes you think on the tee as it is a true "Risk/Reward" hole. Other than those two, it's pretty straightforward... The rough is really short. I've played on some courses in Arkansas where their fairways compare to Rebsamen's rough. It's really not that short, but it seems like it. You can usually get your clubface on the ball There are a few areas of tall open style "heather", but you've hit a really bad shot if you end up there.
