Shoots in the 80s
One of my favorite courses in Arkansas. A beautiful Perry Maxwell design that feels like Southern Hills little brother. Must be able to work the ball both ways or will struggle. Heavy, concrete like sand made the bunkers tough to play. Back nine more scenic due to elevation changes, especially last 5 holes. Small detail items need attention (rusty water fountains, faded paint, etc) on the facilities, but the course is top notch. Customer Service Friendly overall, but it was clear that I wasn't a member or belonged there. Never felt that way at much posher clubs than here. Similar Products Used: Southern Hills, Tulsa OK |

Great old course designed by Perry Maxwell. Very similar in layout to Southern Hills only not as long. Excellent conditioning. Must be able to work the ball to score well. Fast, true greens. Back 9 more scenic than the front. Facilities lacking in small details like rusty water fountains and buildings needing paint that detract from the overall "class" feeling of the place. Course superb however. Customer Service OK overall, but made sure that I felt like an outsider since I am not a member and only played as a guest. Similar Products Used: Southern Hills
