I've played out here a few times this year and have played here for years. I don't normally write reviews, but that last review made me mad. The course was great. The staff was great and the owners haven't "run the course into the ground". If you hadn't noticed that the last two years we've had a drought, so considering that, the staff has done a great job of getting it back up to good standards. Yeah hole #18 is a tough green, but if you don't wack the ball hard it's not a problem. Its nice to have a hole that challenges you. So many people blame the course for their crappy golf game regardless of what course they play. So for everyone who has doubted coming to play here. Don't believe everything you seeing the reviews. Check it out for yourself. It really is a great course, and I recommend it to my coworkers and friends all the time and they've enjoyed it. Customer Service Cutsomer service was good. The guy in the pro shop was really nice, and I was helped right away. They don't normally have a beverage cart out during the week, but I understand that there usually aren't enough golfers to merit one. Otherwise the weekend cart is around in a good time frame. I usually saw the girl about every 3-4 holes, and she was super friendly. Apparently, some people think they need to be followed with the cart to be considered good customer service... |

This was a nice freindly course with some challaging holes. More on the was later. Hole 5 is a par 5 that offers risk and reward, with a long tee shot you can go for the green in two which would require a 210-230 carry over water. If you can't do that them you have to lay up and are still faced with a 130-150 yard carry over water to reach the green. The back 9 has the hardest driving hole in # 13, OB left and right and a sloping fairway that will throw everything to the left. The back 9 also has the stupidest hole I have ever witnessed, # 18 short par 4 which has a goofy green. The hole is only about 335 yard long but you will not be able to stop your ball close to the pin even hitting a Lob wedge, forget about it with mid or long irons if you miss your tee shot. Once on the green you will not be able to stop your ball anywhere close to the hole if you have a downhill put and since you can not stop an approach shot you will always be putting downhill. The worst golf hole I have ever seen. Now for the was, new ownership has taken over and has run this course into the ground. They have no help and are too cheap to hire any. Weekends you may see a beverage cart once if you are lucky and there are none during the week. What drinking fountains they have are usually out of water. Course conditions are now rough and ragged, tees in bad shape, fairways not cut low enough to put spins on the ball, maintenacne has just gone downhill. Customer Service There is none |
