Always play here at least twice. Simply a fun course with a fair degree of variety for a desert course. The more you play here the more you appreciate it. Great vistas but houses beginning to affect that aspect. Par 3's will test you. Super drtiving range and the ice water available at the start as well as ample water on the course is a great touch. And GPS speeds up play.

Great condition when we played, disarmingly pretty, friendly staff, challenging layout - just a great desert golfing experience!

Only the presence of some condiminiums detracted from the experience - and not nearly as bad as a few of the other courses we played. Take a lot of balls - the arroyo eats them alive - and watch out for rattlers - we nearly drove over one on the cart path!

What a sweet day. Spring must be the most beautiful time of year in Tucson, and playing Vistoso on May 3rd certainly confirmed the truth of this. Playing 18 holes with a replay never seemed so easy - even at 95 degrees and encountering a diamondback just off the the number 13 tee-box! Take a non-golfer along just to experience the natural beauty and to understand the serenity that can realized by uncrowded and unhurried golf.
Oh yes - the golf course played fairly and was in the best condition of the five courses I played that week (Raven, Omni Tuscon National, Heritage Highlands and El Conquistador). The gorgeous fairways and greens reminded me of better courses in Ohio - but the flowering desert (and wildlife) put this course in a class by itself as a memorable golfing experience!
