Shoot in the 90s
Pepperwood is a delightful, lovely 9-hole executive course in the heart of Tempe, Arizona. Though it is short, there are plenty of challenges for all levels. There are no sand traps, but water comes into play on 6 of the holes (for me, anyway!), and there are plenty of beautiful trees to frustrate wayward players. Two of the par 4 holes are straight, but two are nearly 90 degree doglegs to the left. The greens are small, and out-of-bounds lurks for the golfer who tends to hit to the left (uh, that would be ME...). Carts are available, but it's a great walking course, even in the middle of summer. It is the first course I ever played, and still one of my favorites! Customer Service Everything is good.
