Shoots in the 90s

Very disappointed in this golf course for these reasons:
Not kept up well; trash; tee markers not set; lots of mud and smells.
People arriving 1/2 late for their tee time were put on the course when they arrived.
No dress code; people playing in tee shirts, jeans.
Lots of "non-golfers" playing extremely slow on course.
No course information on score card, just a teensy picture of the layout; couldn't tell where water was coming into play, or how far traps and bunkers were.
Our round took almost 5 hours!!

Customer Service

Personnel seemed very unprofessional, from their dress to their conversations.

Shoots in the 80s

Played Superstition Springs/Mesa, AZ in April 2010; great course and very good value for the money. Very green and lush, and a thinking man's course. Glad we listened to Scott in pro-shop; we paid $37/pp for a mid-morning tee time. Also many thanks to starter Bob and marshal Mike - holes 4,5 and 10 are best played with a hybrid! This was our first time here and we played from the tips at approx. 7,000 yards. We will return...

Shoots in the 90s

Not a bad track. Nice change up after playing several desert courses. Some tough holes here. Plays around 7200 yards from the tips....you don't want to try this. Greens are nice, however, very hilly. If your shot is a little wide, your in for a tough chip. Payed $22 in mid september. Great deal

Shoot in the 80s

When in top condition great track. Thinking mans coures, if you automatically yank the driver on every hole don't play here. This course requires thought on the tee box, position is more important than length. Greens can be extreamly fast at times, but usually in good condition. The #9 hole routinely rated as one of the best holes in the valley. Take advantage of the summer discounts and try this course out.

Shoot in the 70s

This course is pretty nice and pretty tough which I like, but it is "an old man's" course. It favors those hitting 230 yd drives and you MUST hit the greens. If you miss a green, your ball will roll 20 to 30 yds down a hill into water. It was very frustrating for me to constantly drive through fairways into trouble and miss greens by 2 feet and end up in the water. If I play again (my father in-law likes it), I will hit no more than 3 wood even from the back tees. Maybe even 3 or 4 iron. Not a course for long hitters! A Yardage book would help. One neat thing, we payed $25 for breakfast and nine holes, not bad!

Note: My value is based upon the $25 I payed.
Note: My ratings were based on my experience, hitting 270 to 300 yd drives ruin this course for me. Short hitters that shoot 70's should rate this course much higher.
