Tight little course. Good driving range.
Customer Service Less than adequate. Felt like we were less than welcome. Similar Products Used: Del Lago

I have heard good things about San Ignacio since I have moved into the area. (I am younger and live in Sahuarita) I finally had a chance to golf it recently, and was pleasantly surprised. This coarse is much more friendlier than it's sister Canoa Hills. While it is still can be as difficult as Canoa Hills, I felt it was a little bit more forgiving. And it had funner holes to play than CH. The fairways were in excellent shape, but as the golfer below me complained about, the greens were checkerboard, but were not rock hard like the previous poster had reported. It does look like the staff is trying to fix the problems. I would definately golf it again. Customer Service Good |

It has been almost 10 years since I last played this course. I took almost 6 years off from the game, and with so many quality courses in the Tucson area, it took me awhile to make it back here. I used to play this layout on a semi regular basis, and it was the jewel of the Green Valley golf courses. It was easily one of my favorite courses. It is amazing what 10 years can do to a golf course. While the layout is great, and the fairways are tight and a real challenge to stay in, and the trees (and desert for that matter) have matured a lot, this course could be in much better shape. The fairways were in very good shape today, but the greens on the back 9 were in terrible shape. It looks like they have been making a real effort to fix them, but there are almost checkboard type sections of them that are all but bare. The front nine is better, but not by a lot. I think that this course could really use having someone come in and tear out the greens and install new ones. As I said, it is a challenging course, and when you are trying to make approach shots into greens that act like pavement, it makes it even tougher. For the money, go down the road just a little big and play the new Canoa Ranch golf course which is wonderful. I would write a review of it here but it is still to be added. Customer Service The customer service was ok. There were three guys behind the counter in the proshop when we got there, and even though we were second in line, it took about 10 minutes to check in. The guy said that they can only do one group at a time and they can't seem to do them very quickly. The beverage cart girl was very friendly, but seemed to dissapear to early for my liking. |

This golf course is in terrible condition. The greens, fairways are like cement. When a high shot hits the green it bounces like you landed on a cart path. I could not belive my eyes when my high soft sand wedge shot landed right in the middle of a bunker and bounced about 10 feet up in the air and on the green! Similar Products Used: None |

Another very good Green Valley course. This is the most difficult of the G. V. courses with a good mix of short and long holes. Many holes with very narrow driving areas and greens that can be extreamly servere. If you want a good test of your game this is the course. Great deal in the summertime.
