Shoots in the 80s

Played Estella in early May, 2003. From the moment we drove into the parking lot, this was a great experience. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Well stocked pro shop with stuff you might actully want to have. Not bad prices either. We were given free range balls, cart, water, divot tool and bag tags. The starter was very helpful - especially since we had not played the course before. We started on time at 11:30 am on a Saturday - not bad. The course was immaculate. Tees, fairways, greens - all great. I found the sand to be pretty heavy - not the best. No real rough - it was all fairway or desert. All carts have GPS equipment - which makes playing a new course a lot easier. Full marks here. I found the course to be pretty straight forward - not too difficult. No big carries off the tee. A good test of golf.

Customer Service

Was excellent - as good as the best places.

A beautiful desert course that is well worth the drive to play. You will not find a prettier par 3 than "Consequence" (hole # 17).

I had a nice time at this course. WHen I played Dec 2001 it was in nice shape. Layout is fun. It is a little far away from downtown phoenix but the drive is OK as long as it is not Rushhour.

Customer Service

Good. No Problems. Expensive range balls.

Shoot in the 70s

This was a beautiful golf course. Every hole is so separate from the others, it's like you're the only group out there.
It was very well maintained, down to the last grain of sand. It is a new course, so it has some maturing to do. It was not overly difficult from the second longest tees (6707 yds.) but was still challenging and would be better from back tees (7102 yds.) The greens were a bit slow, but that is to be expected for a new course. All in all a must play if you are in the area.

Customer Service
