This is a fun track in that you can score well though I would say anyone that thinks the ball regularly funnels off the banks you see adjacent to the fairway hasn't played with me. I seem to be on sidehills more than I'd expect if that was true. There are a few memorable holes and the elevation changes are nice. The tee shots on #10 and #18 come to mind specifically. Greens are OK, not great. I would not overpay to play here, but worth playing. There is a mountain pass and/or a wekopass that offers good deals for locals, but the memberships are getting full making gettting a time in high season more difficult.

Customer Service

Rangers are active which is good.

WeKoPa and Sunridge Canyon have similar topography. I'd ranked WeKoPa the highest and I like Sunridge Canyon a little more than Eagle Mountain, but Sunridge is a tougher course more likely to bruise your ego whereas Eagle Mountain is ego-friendly.

One of my must plays when in Phoenix. The golf course is beautiful, fun and challenging with lots of undulation throughout. If you like flat desert courses, you won't like EM. What I particularly like about it is that while there are plenty of nice houses lining the course, they really don't come into play both visually and strategically. Most of the fairways are mounded on both sides which puts the houses well above the playing surface. A nice feature. After the round, my wife and I have enjoyed many fine moments on the gorgeous veranda overlooking Phoenix. One of the best views you can get!

Beautiful course with great variety, including changes in elevation. Quite a number of the fairways funnel in from the edges so that'll keep the less straight off the tee in play a bit more often. A bit pricey but it's worth some extra dough.

Customer Service

Excellent, including in the grill, and very helpful during a rainout I endured.

One of my favorites. Always in mint condition from tees to greens and everthing in between. Only draw back is SO MANY houses and new constructions.
A must play, summer rates are quite reasonable.

A great value for a top course. It was in great shape in May 2002. They will be redoing the greens in the summer of 2002.

I have visited the Scottsdale area during the last 2 Aprils. I have played Troon North Monument, Grayhawk Talon, Las Sendas, Wildfire, Sedona, Legend Trail and Eagle Mountain. For the value and for very, very little compromise, Eagle Mountain was the best. Conditions were first rate, views spectacular, and the course was challengeing yet somewhat fair. Make no mistake, you need your game to play here. I''ll be back.

I played Eagle Mountain early November and out of the 6 Scottsdale courses this was the best. The course had no weak spots with the greens playing very fast and exiting.

This is the best golf course I have ever seen. I am a superintendent, and from a maintenance standpoint, these guys do a remarkable job. It is beautiful, challenging, and fun. What more can you ask for? The greens were lightning fast, the tee shots were amazing, the place was as manicured as it gets. And it plays tough folks. If you get on the wrong side of the pin, be prepared to be penalized! Use the yardage book and believe it. The elevation changes and the route around the mountain that the course takes is simply awesome. It is one that you have to play at any cost!

Customer Service

Awesome staff, every one of them!

I just returned from a spectacular 4 day golf excursion, courtesy of my wife, for my birthday. We played 6 courses in 4 days: Talking Stick, Las Sendas, Sun Ridge Canyon, Eagle Mountain, Wildfire and Gold Canyon (Dinosaur). Please take the time to read all my reviews.

This is a great course. From the views to the condition to customer service, everything says "Play Me". We played from the back tees (not the tips). The course played long but fair. The fairways were excellent and the greens were in mint condition. The staff was very helpful - they gave tips on how to play certain holes and there was always a Marshal around to make sure that the paceof play was quick. The green fees were also very reasonable - $50 for twilight on a Saturday afternoon. Definately a must play when you are in Scottsdale. I shot a 77.

Customer Service

The Staff was very accomodating.
