Relatively flat golf course that is Troon managed and a good desert course to play. I enjoy this course, but it's a bit far for me to play with any regularity. I'd put it in the same tier with say Talking Stick or the Phoenician though I personally like it more than those two (YMMV).

Very pretty course for a desert layout. It is challenging enough without being too hard. Of the two courses Catstail is slighly harder. This is my choice course in AZ for customer golf.

Two 18 hole courses...with Cattail (Devils Claw is the other) having played home to the Nationwide tour the past few years. Both are playable for intermediate or better golfers with some carries and plenty of bunkering in play. While a desert style course, it's not so much what one would call a true 'target' course. This past year, some of the desert has been cleaned out so one can sometimes catch a decent lie after a bad play. These courses are always immacculate and the greens smooth and relatively quick. The carts actually have air conditioning of sorts as well! The Cattail is a bit tougher, but not by much.
