Shoots in the 80s

played it this week on monday. rain was imminent so the course wasn't busy in the morning. in fact, we finished in 3 hours!

the course was great. you had to meander through neighborhoods and streets from green to tee on a few holes, but i didn't mind b/c the course was nicely spread out. the fairways were pretty wide and the par 4's were either really short or really long so you had to choose your club wisely.

i wasn't expecting much from the course, but i was really suprised how fun and challenging it was. it was in great shape.

would definitely play again. there are some really nice views from elevated tee boxes.

Customer Service

replay was only $15!!! we went back out and only got 3 holes in b/c a monsoon hit us. they let us go back out and we started at #1. no ranger/starter was pushing the group infront of us on the replay, but they kindly let us play through.

Shoots in the 80s

Course was in decent condition. All the greens were really well maintained and very consistent if not on the slow side. Most greens in AZ are sunbaked but Coldwater has figured out how to keep a small cut on the green without sacrificing consistency. Fairways were only dried out on the upper parts of the higher hilled areas. Otherwise they were wide open and green. Forgiving for most players but I found myself further down the fairway than I am used to and they seemed to get much tighter at about the 300 yard area. A playing partner was getting quite a bit of roll on the fairway as well. Has a range to hit balls, two putting greens and a chipping area with a practice bunker for warmups.

Customer Service

Customer service was nonexistent. Could have used a starter as I got stuck behind a twosome who wouldn't let me play through for the first half of the round. Never saw a Ranger or I would have brought it up. Ran in to a 5-some on the back nine also. Never saw a refreshment cart either.

This is a great course. It is fairly wide open but misses make for challenging shots. The practice facilities are excellent and the prices are very reasonable.

Customer Service

Personnel are friendly and courteous
