Played mid-May 2007. Course was in best shape it has been in a few years. Greens were being aerated and top dressed, but rolled well anyway. Nice, scenic layout with interesting holes, challenging, but fair. Will play again.

Great course. Play it every summer at my family reunion. Challenging, but fair. Nice wide fairways, lots of water. Lots of geese too, so watch out for the geese droppings! Fantastic greens.

GEESE, GEESE and more GEESE

This is one of the greatest courses I have ever played. The fairways are immaculate and the greens are nice. The only bad thing about this course is all the geese it has around it, or rather all the geese droppings. This course should hold some tour event, It has held NIKE tour events in the past. The holes are all challenging both in length , and in shot selection. You need to be able to work the ball both ways. Buy a yardage book before you play, it is immensely helpful. This a one of the most picturesque courses I have played. It is surrounded by a lake, which is present on most of the holes but doesn't really come into play. Really nice to play in the winter, they overseed with rye and have bermuda rough so the contrast in colors is nice to look at.
