Played Ross Bridge on 10/20/08. I played the course from the orange markers (about 6800 yds).

As other reviewers have stated, the course property is vast and sprawling with rolling hills. Fairways are extremely wide. Golf cart parking around greens can leave you a fairly good walk up embankments to get to the putting surface. I would NEVER consider playing here if it was cart path only!

Tees and fairways had recently been overseeded with rye grass. Hence the fairway lies were not very tight and the tee boxes were pretty high. Fairways did not roll much. Many, many holes required playing downhill lies to uphill greens. It was very difficult to judge how much club to add to account for the elevation changes.

Course is extremely well bunkered from tee to green. Most greenside bunkers are extremely deep. Sand in some of them seem to have come directly from the beach - very fluffy and hard to walk in to get to your ball. Greens were fast but very playable. Most greens had generous chipping areas if you missed it. They are also tremendously large. You could easily get over a 100 ft putt if you were on the front and had a back pin position.

IMO, this course would be a high capper's worst nightmare with the severe greeside bunkering - very few holes can accomodate a run-up shot from the fairway.

It was a beautiful day to play but everyone in the group was glad to see the 18th hole. It took apprx 4.5 hours to play.

If you have an RTJ trail card as I did, the cost is somewhat high. I personally don't see the course being worth $140 without the card.

This course is the host to the Champions Tour Regions Charity Classic. As I understand, some of the top players skip this event because of their dislike of the course. When this tourney was held at Greystone, just about every top senior player teed it up.

Customer Service

Good. However pro shop personnel were handling phone calls when we arrived and check-in took a little longer that desired.

In a word, BIG. Big greens, big fairways, big yardage. Although I did not play well, you can score if you keep it in the fairway and hit the proper spot on the greens. Very well conditioned and super staff. Just a lot of money for a round of golf in my opinion.

Customer Service

Everyone was helpful and attentive. First rate.

In a word, BIG. Big greens, big fairways, big surroundings. Very well conditioned, although I did not play well, I think you can score on it from the proper tees. Just keep the ball in the fairway and hit the proper spot on the greens. A lot of cash to play, though.

Customer Service

Great. Everyone was very helpful and attentive.

Beautiful addition to the RTJ Trail. It is sprawling and gorgeous set up to test all levels. The only knock on it is painfully slow pace of play.

Customer Service

Everyone is trying to please at this new course, but it's a little amateurish. The course jams in as many corporate outings as possible and only aspires to a 4 hour 45 minute pace of play. My round was 5:15 , simply unacceptable for such a beautiful track.
