Bent Tree, although currently under year-long maintanance,is nder work smply to fix the porblems that pother reviewers havereportd. Narrower fairways and sloping greens will only add to the strategic player's enjoyment on this course.

Bent Tree has been host to the Senior PGA tour. The course itself is very well maintained with good quality fairways and greens. Fairways are modestly wide and greens are generous. Front nine is rather plain with only holes 3 and 6 offering much in terms of strategic challenge. Otherwise, universally long and straight. The back nine is more interesting with holes 13, 14 and 15 making a nice series and hole 18 makes a great finishing hole. Hole 14 is definately one you will want to take a picture of as you tee off 75 ft above the green to a green surrounded on three sides by water and bunkers. For the most part though, limited use for short irons and most second shots will remain 150+ yards out for most golfers.

Customer Service

No need to bring water or drinks. Phones are located around the course to bring beverage service to you. Tea and water are available for free at the driving range.

Well maintained, excellent bent grass greens. Lots of water to contend with. Well kept sand bunkers. Quite long if you play from the championship tees.

Shoot in the 70s

Great private club established in the mid 1970's. Interesting layout utilizing doglegs, selective water hazards and length to make the rather flat terrain more challenging. Great coarse condition all around with speedy greens during the dry hot texas summers. Tough front nine par 5 (#3) stretching almost 600 yards with thin fairway, water all along the left and bunkers lining the right, small green slopes down to the lake on the left. Take a couple balls!
